A show by gamers who may or may not discuss video games
Geeks of Rage© are committed to serving the already overstimulated and reclusive gaming community with yet another form of entertainment that can be accessed within the time of a few mouse clicks. We understand that playing games isn’t enough for some people, that they also need to listen to like-minded individuals discuss their favorite hobby at length. We are no strangers to the needs of these individuals, and have bravely decided to step forward and serve our community.
While there is certainly no void left in the medium by would-be journalists with ponytails and impressive vocabularies, our approach to putting on a talk show for gamers is a unique and bold one. Lacking any resources like connections, professional skills, or education in the industry beyond mastery of our own controllers, we instead play to our strengths and discuss whatever comes out of our asses. We leave that “What are you playing this week?” shit for the other shows, along with that “My top five games” shit, and even that “Hello” shit. There are no previews or reviews here, and the fact that games have come up at least once a show so far is purely coincidental and is not guaranteed in the future. We don’t presume to know what you do need, but what you don’t need, which is another trio of dweebs kicking around tired topics that are probably being recorded through countless other dweebs’ microphones at the same exact time. And if we happen to do so, it’s purely coincidental and we guarantee that we will employ a less-lame approach than the dweebs before us, as well as dweebs to come.
Even if you’re not sharp enough to realize how much you need not just a show like this, but this show in your life, you still benefit from listening, as it will give you something to bitch about afterward. And we know how much you love to bitch. Still think we don’t know you?
Our plan is airtight and our mission is clear. Now all we need is you to acknowledge it.
